Why I'm standing

I didn't see the kind of business experience, community passion or diversity in our candidates. I am not a politician or associated with any developers. I am an independent candidate and a vested member of the community. It is important that our community and businesses be at the centre of our decision-making to protect the integrity of our environment. Accountability and transparency is needed to fix the discord between council and the community.

About me

I have been involved in many community and sporting activities. I am an active member of the school fundraising committee. I have worked at Auckland City Council, ARC, QLDC and Lakes Environmental and have a good understanding of the workings of the council. I bring with me the experience of working at councils and the voice of the community as I have lived, worked and loved this community. Investing in the community is important.

My priorities
  1. Community and business at the centre of our decision-making to protect our environmental integrity.
  2. Invest in a robust public transport and focus on housing affordability.
  3. Accountability and transparency on council spending and building trust. Economic diversification.
