Why I'm standing

I love the diversity of Rodney and it's wide open spaces. It's a great place to live, but we're not getting a fair share of what we contribute to Auckland. I'm seeking election to help drive positive change. I want to see a city where the wants and needs of rural ratepayers are met; and where the 'Super City' council recognises the importance of actioning projects necessary to support Rodney's continued growth and development.

About me

Rodney needs diversity of thought and experiences around the boardroom that can debate the issues and achieve the best outcomes. I'm committed to working hard, listening to your requests and making sensible decisions for our shared future. I'm academically and professionally qualified in environmental science, communications, business and governance. However, I'm also practical, with a Class 5 license and the skills to get stuck in and make change happen.

My priorities
  1. Applying scrutiny to council spending to get things under control and value from ratepayer funds.
  2. Enhance the liveability of Rodney, fixing our failing infrastructure supporting local initiatives.
  3. Providing Rodney greater transparency in local government; being accessible, open and available.
