Rodney Local Board

Wellsford Subdivision
The Rodney Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of nine members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the local board area. One member will be elected from your area. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.   • Maintain and improve our roads, both sealed and unsealed, to ensure they remain safe for our community.

    Fix the footpaths in the main street. Remove the cobblestones to make this safer. More footpaths in other areas such as Te Hana.

    Upgrade the pedestrian in Wellsford Town to be more visible and safe.

  • Better connectivity for the community area by implementing the Unsealed Road Improvement Plan for safer roads.

    To engage with Auckland Transport and Waka Kotahi to implement the Unsealed Road Improvement Program.
