Taumarunui-Ōhura Community Board

The Taumarunui-Ōhura Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Ruapehu District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of six members: five members elected by voters, and one councillor from the Ruapehu District Council.  This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. I have taken an active avid interest in our community and publicly addressed successfully to council.

About me

I bring integrity,care and loyalty plus a vision that my home town and community will continue to flourish well into the future and experience on committees, teaching English to migrants and professionally in a number of Administration roles.

My priorities
  1. Working in a team combining experiences of diverse backgrounds for the betterment of our community.
  2. Return of essential services to our Hospital eliminating long waiting periods and travel to Waikato.
  3. Reduction in speed on SH41 between Pukehou and Orangi Road residential where I live.
