Oppose Three Waters as these large organisations will have no accountability to water users and local communities.
Advocate for organic waste solutions and that the Spicer landfill improves its operations to eliminate the current serious odour issues.
Support Three Waters reforms, which retains ownership in councils, maximising economies of scale, and protecting the health of people and waterways.
Advocate for and support community groups who work to keep Tawa healthy and clean and that the public toilets in Linden are delivered as agreed.
Support policies that would future-proof infrastructure for water supply, wastewater and sewerage.
Advocate for policies that would encourage and make it easier for residents to recycle, eg reverse recycling vending machines.
Prioritise better mental health support and awareness for fire and emergency services and reduce medical wait times increasing accessibility.
Ensure consistent water fluoridation in accordance with Taumata Arowai regulations for water suppliers to meet optimal fluoridation targets.
