Why I'm standing

I believe that communities are threads that weave a great city together. I couldn't see myself represented within my local community board, and I believe I can speak for many in my ward. For those who do not feel that I may be representative of them, I am concerned, empathetic, and conscientious in informing myself to speak on their behalf.

About me

I have a personal history of community service, serving on Te Tira Kāhikuhiku which enables transitional uses of our red-zones; working with the Styx Living Laboratory Trust to enhance that precious river environment; and until recently was active on Green Effect Trust (Trees for Canterbury in Ferrymead), and Watch This Space Trust. I'm a born and raised Cantabrian and I love Ōtautahi Christchurch. With unwavering enthusiasm, I'm committed to understanding residents aspirations and concerns.

My priorities
  1. Funding grassroots organisations that strengthen communities and regenerate natural ecosystems.
  2. Requesting quick responses on issues, particularly with infrastructure.
  3. Develop strategies for coordinated local safety and security in light of crime waves.
