Why I'm standing

I want to leave the Waimakariri district a better place. I am worried that central government is pushing its agenda through local government and I want to provide a balanced view to these policies we are seeing, Three Waters being the most commonly known example of government interference in local affairs.

About me

I served 21 Years in the RNZAF, before starting my own business in 2006 at Rangiora Airfield. I have lived in Rangiora since 2002 and have raised 4 children here. I have connections in the community through Rangiora Airfield and the local school system. This is an amazing area to work in and to raise children. I will make a good representative because I will be focused on family and business.

My priorities
  1. Reduce central government interference and provide a balanced viewpoint in local government affairs.
  2. Provide support for local business and farmers by reducing bureaucracy and wasteful spending.
  3. Support initiatives that have provable positive outcomes for the district.
