Why I'm standing

I want to live alongside happy people who feel they contribute to and support the diversity around them that is life. I want to see rates spent effectively on improving the quality and equity of life for people and Council provide the services to enable people to live more sustainable lives.

About me

I understand political systems and how these affect our lives positively or negatively. I will use these systems to influence positive impact. Long involvement in the community sector within Christchurch means I have awareness and connection with communities in the ward and will support their local projects and solutions.

My priorities
  1. Develop walkable streets and cycling infrastructure to connect people with local amenities and business.
  2. Empower the involvement of Shirley residents in planning and developing a community space.
  3. Action plans to alleviate surface water and flooding issues for residents and businesses.
