Why I'm standing

Our community has faced some unique challenges over the last 15 years. We need someone to represent us who understands these first-hand. A fresh voice from the community with fresh ideas addressing local issues. I love my community, I want the very best for it and I am more than prepared to put my hand up to serve.

About me

Having served in the teaching profession for 25 years as a teacher, head of department, and dean, I know how to genuinely listen to student and parent concerns, to problem solve community issues, and provide structured guidance and advice. I am an authentic, thoughtful and deliberate leader who always works collaboratively and leads by example. Let me put my experience and knowledge to work for our community.

My priorities
  1. Improve the infrastructure of our community to ensure more positive social engagement of youth.
  2. Improve road safety in our community so that pedestrians, cyclists and commuters are safe.
  3. Ensure that we are adapting to climate change through common-sense approaches.
