Coastal Subdivision
The Waitai Coastal-Burwood-Linwood Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Christchurch City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of nine members: six members elected by voters, including two members from your area, and three councillors from the Christchurch City council. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. I am a long time resident and property owner in the Coastal Ward. The community aspirations, experiences and battles are ones I've fought for on a personal level as well as a community one.

My priorities
  1. Clear communication from all levels of council.
  2. Ensure decision making is informed by both expert advice and community feedback.
  3. Ensure the development of the coastal community works in a way that supports people and business.
