Why I'm standing

I have lived in Woolston for over thirty years. There is no excuse for the lack of investment in our area nor the lack of progress in fixing our roads and footpaths a decade on from the earthquakes – it is not good enough, and I will keep fighting for a fair deal for the East. I'm prepared to work for you and for a better future for ourselves and our families.

About me

I have been on the Community Board for the past three years and I have a working knowledge of all current projects and issues. I have been active in my community for many years and have good working relationships with many local organisations and groups. There is much work to be done and I believe I will be stronger and better in the new term.

My priorities
  1. Ensure the voices of the people are heard in relation to local issues and new projects.
  2. Continue to advocate for road repairs and rebuilding; especially the Christchurch Regeneration Acceleration Facility (CRAF) projects and Bromley project.
  3. Ensure community assets and groups are adequately resourced and funded.
