Why I'm standing

I am passionate about Woolston and the East, it's my home and community, but the council has given us a stink deal. We deserve better! I want to be part of the solution and to serve my community as a representative and advocate.

About me

I am an experienced advocate, having worked in the community sector advocating for people my whole adult life. I have also been on a local community board before, including one term as chair. I've been on a charitable trust, and on a local school board of trustees. I believe strongly in representative, local democracy and have a track record of service and leadership.

My priorities
  1. Protect and enhance community assets and service levels: parks, pools, playgrounds, libraries, etc.
  2. Repair and renew roads and paths in areas that have been neglected, such as Bromley and North Linwood.
  3. Ensure that communities of the East have a strong community board that punches above its weight.
