Why I'm standing

My first term in local government was during very strange times. It brought us closer together as a community, and I feel I have more to offer now that things are opening up and we can have more participation in all sectors. I feel we can both protect and enhance our natural assets and make the West Harbour an even more fun and exciting place to live, work and visit.

About me

I have lived in the West Harbour for 22 years, raising my family here and am passionate about using my creativity, positivity and practicality to help make a difference. I want to support local and help build a better future for us and future generations. I'm great at working with others, and people are my main focus – how can we make life better, foster connectedness and promote happiness.

My priorities
  1. Rezone Otago Regional Council owned empty sections on Observation Point. We need people living there.
  2. Enhance our existing parks with fences, food growing and grow fruit trees, veg, along the shared path.
  3. Support restoration of our heritage buildings.
