Why I'm standing

I have much to offer the community and wish to build on what I have achieved over the last 16 months since coming into council in a by-election.

About me

I understand our issues and needs and have always been available to people. I offer an open mind and a strength of character to stand for the people. My previous experience as Community Board Chair for six years helped me know the way council works. I have held many positions in governance and management in organisations and businesses throughout my working life. My wife and I still own and operate a small import, manufacture, wholesale business.

My priorities
  1. Healthier, happier and safer age-friendly communities.
  2. Improve the quality of all our waters from source to end and around again.
  3. Affordable communities where people can live and thrive with work and activities.
