Why I'm standing

I wish to serve an outstanding community. It is beautiful, economically vibrant, supported by a wide range of community organisations.

About me

Local councils have numerous challenges and I have the strategic thinking, leadership and financial skills to help lead the district through these turbulent times.

My priorities
  1. Inflation, interest rate increases and growth are placing challenges on council finances and rates.
  2. Consenting process is contentious so bring transparency and discipline to this process.
  3. Prepare the district for emerging technologies and encourage innovation in the area, eg hoot-tech.
