The mayor is the leader of the council. Their job is to promote a vision for the district and lead the development of the council’s plans, policies and budget. Why I'm standing
I believe I have the skills and experience to achieve positive change in our district. I have really enjoyed being a councillor and wish to continue to serve our communities. My experience at council and a collaborative, positive approach to leadership will be vital to guide council through the major reforms of local government coming up.
About me
I am a current councillor. I chair two council committees. I am a qualified hearings commissioner. I have been a professional in corporate finance for ten years. I hold leadership positions in a wide variety of community organisations in the environmental, social, charitable and economic sectors. I will bring a younger perspective and a positive approach.
My priorities
