Why I'm standing
I am standing up as a candidate after watching our democracy slowly getting eroded. Our rights to choose, our freedoms being taken away. Covid was a very upsetting time, friends and families forced to take the jab or lose their jobs was unbelievable to me. Democracy NZ is a party that stands up for our freedoms, our rights to choose and our body autonomy. This is the only party that aligns with my beliefs.
About me
I have a good understanding of the extractive industry and the importance of that in a healthy economy. I'm a strong advocate for the four land expressway through to Whangarei and beyond. I have served the community for 14 years as a volunteer fire fighter and had a strong sense of community. I believe in standing up for the rights of all New Zealanders and less government intrusion in our lives.
My priorities
- Roading and infrastructure. Repairs and maintenance. Expansion projects. Sustainability initiatives.
- Business initiatives. Economic development. Community expansion. Entrepreneurial support.
- Erosion control. Whangaparāoa shoreline. Waterfront erosion control. Permanent repair solutions.
