Why I'm standing

I view the current funding model as unsustainable and requiring government assistance with debt free money. The media and education system unfortunately do not bring this to our attention. I encourage researching the concept of debt being money. Auckland weather will challenge us all with climate change, for example excessive rainfall events and winds. I support community engagement with votes for such policy of finance as a step for financial change. People need to participate by voting.

About me

Born in New Zealand, lived and worked locally and internationally, which has widened my understanding. As a retired international passenger jet pilot, I am used to looking at procedures that ensure the safety of passengers. I believe we on planet Earth need to work with nature to feed us and breathe, with finance to pay for our costs. Years ago it used to be 40 minutes work in order to eat. Now, on two incomes, many struggle. Money?

My priorities
  1. Successfully swear in as mayor of Auckland and Christchurch to represent the communities now.
  2. Obtain elected members, public and staff to come up with an action plan for funding and obtain Prime Minister approval.
  3. Reduce the costs of living and council funding shortfalls after getting PM approval to implement.
