Why I'm standing

I love Auckland - this city is in my bones. But I believe Aucklanders need better service from their politicians - we can save money and improve service by taking a long hard look at every facet of council operations.

About me

A Chartered Accountant and animal advocate, I believe in empathic listening - building consensus where possible, and always advancing the path of social justice. Look forward to applying both my business and communication skills to the needs of Aucklanders for lean, efficient and compassionate government.

My priorities
  1. Set the tone for a comprehensive review of all aspects of council operations.
  2. Stop the senseless killing of dogs in pounds and provide emergency funding for animal rescues.
  3. Start on a long-term vision of the future, from fiscal responsibility to compassionate conservation.
