Why I'm standing

I'm running for election because Rotorua is my home and I want to help guide our city and the wider Bay of Plenty through a time of significant change. I care deeply about our environment, communities and long-term prosperity, and I want to bring leadership, experience and collaboration to the council table to ensure decisions reflect the needs of our people.

About me

I will make a good elected representative because I bring experience in local government management, democratic processes and community leadership. I believe local government is entering a time of significant change, and I can help lead decisions that protect our environment and communities. As a mother, grandmother and active Rotorua resident, I understand local needs and values, and I am committed to leading with integrity, collaboration and practical outcomes that benefit everyone in our region.

My priorities
  1. Protect lakes and waterways by reducing runoff, restoring ecosystems and managing catchments.
  2. Build partnerships with iwi, communities and stakeholders to balance growth and environmental care.
  3. Invest in climate-ready infrastructure, waste reduction, energy efficiency and resilient water systems.
