Why I'm standing

I love Christchurch. My wife, Wendy, and I have three children, and two of them were born in Christchurch. Christchurch is my hometown and my family's precious sanctuary. We do not have Home B.

About me

I'm an environmental health officer of Christchurch City Council. I will bring my expertise, knowledge and skills to Environment Canterbury if I'm elected. I grew up in a rural village in South China. Our village used to live a self-sufficient life for hundreds of years before the government forced us to cut down all native forests in the late 1950s to make charcoal for steelmaking. I want to share my indigenous knowledge with Canterburians.

My priorities
  1. Make fresh air, clean water and soil great again.
  2. Regenerate native flora and fauna from the mountains to the sea.
  3. Balance productivity and sustainability.
