Why I'm standing

I am running for local board because I see public service as a duty. I bring first-principles thinking and empathy, and I want a council that listens and supports people to get on with life. In Waiuku I hear daily frustrations with red tape, unfair rates and distant decision-making. I will apply my skills to restore trust, simplify processes and put community needs ahead of bureaucracy and get things done for Waiuku.

About me

I am a technology and problem-solving expert who brings practical innovation to streamline processes. I hold a Master of Business in Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Data Analysis. I specialise in complex paperwork and compliance and help small businesses navigate Auckland Council requirements with clarity and speed. Colleagues and locals come to me first for administration, compliance and systems advice because I am meticulous, responsive and effective.

My priorities
  1. Encourage a culture of sensible spending within the local board to prioritise wellbeing over vanity.
  2. Advocate for rates rises to be capped at inflation, so residents are not penalised for overspending.
  3. Prioritise drainage, road safety and emergency hubs to protect lives and property from major storms.
