Why I'm standing

I am running to ensure our community's voice is heard and acted on, not just acknowledged. I have lived, worked and served here my whole life, and I am committed to representing Waiuku, Glenbrook, Awhitu and surrounding areas with honesty, transparency and action. I believe local decisions should be driven by local needs. My campaign is built on one simple promise: I am from Waiuku, for Waiuku, and I will work tirelessly to deliver results that matter.

About me

I bring years of community service, leadership and hands-on involvement in local organisations, from emergency response to arts and heritage. I know how to listen, build consensus and get things done. I am deeply connected to the people I represent, and I am not afraid to ask hard questions or push for better outcomes. I believe in openness, accountability and making decisions that put people first, qualities I will carry into every local board meeting.

My priorities
  1. Support urgent road safety upgrades and better road maintenance across Waiuku.
  2. Advocate to protect and expand Franklin Memorial Hospital, including exploring urgent care services.
  3. Advocate strongly for an indoor aquatic centre in Waiuku for year-round swimming access.
