Why I'm standing

I am running for election to ensure that Waiuku continues to have experienced, practical and enthusiastic representation on the Franklin Local Board. I am motivated by a deep-seated commitment to the community and the belief that our voice must not just be heard, but acted upon. I am dedicated to addressing the most pressing issues and ensuring Waiuku's special qualities are preserved for future generations.

About me

I am your current Franklin Local Board member with a proven track record of standing up for Waiuku. I have nine years as a City Councillor and multiple terms on the Local Board which give me the insight and political experience to get things done. As a local resident, I am deeply connected to the community. I am committed to providing leadership, accountability and responsiveness to residents, always acting accordingly.

My priorities
  1. Push Watercare to provide fair water quality to Waiuku residents, alleviating financial burden.
  2. Advocate for infrastructure to be in place before development to manage future growth.
  3. Challenge costly Auckland Transport projects and demand accountability for ratepayer money.
