Why I'm standing

I love helping people. I was asked to run and heeded the call. I thought it was a great synergy for my current charitable objectives at the HighSide in Karioitahi. I see it as an opportunity to give back to and engage with the community.

About me

I am an ex-Air New Zealand pilot and have honed leadership and decision-making in high-pressure settings. I have an architecture degree, and construction and property development experience, which equip me to tackle planning and infrastructure challenges creatively and effectively. Every day I am out on the land finding solutions to problems. If I get elected onto the Franklin local board I will bring my passion for solving problems to our community every day.

My priorities
  1. Get the basics right, including quality roading, safety and services as the core responsibility.
  2. Protect and manage our unique coastal assets and waterways.
  3. Support community wellbeing and facilities.
