Why I'm standing

I am passionate about working with Tangata Whenua and Mana Whenua (in Te Tiriti) in a collective, collaborative, participatory approach for regional planning, climate resilience infrastructures, housing, transport infrastructures, flood protection, watercare, wildlife sanctuaries and foolproof biosecurity challenges. These remain long unresolved but challenging issues for future growth of our local area which I believe can do better.

About me

I was a local union representative for EPMU for workers rights. I participated in 20,000 trees planting project in collaboration with Conservation New Zealand. I volunteered my time as leadership support for young entrepreneurs leadership workshops participants from New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific, some sponsored by UNICEF. My vision is to work with Tangata Whenua and Mana Whenua, uplifting lives of Māori and Asian communities – a collective, collaborative, participatory approach for regional planning.

My priorities
  1. Build two new water treatment plants in Stokes Valley and Korokoro/Belmont region.
  2. Build new Cross Valley capital connection through Wellington eastern suburbs.
  3. Build super city Wellington for low rates with 20 years infrastructure plan.
