Why I'm standing
I believe real change happens in our community when we invest in each other. I will bring common-sense decision making to local board spending, cutting waste and ensuring ratepayer funds are used wisely in our community.
About me
I sit on the board of directors with Destination Ōrewa business association. I am a seasoned NZ business leader with decades of driving business success in trade-related industries, from boardroom strategy to hands-on local small and medium enterprise (SME) operations. I often roll up my sleeves behind the scenes in supporting our schools, charities, local events, thrift stores or grassroots projects.
My priorities
- Support coastal erosion initiatives and defence for Orewa Beach, Hatfields and Army Bay.
- Deter coastal poaching with stricter penalties and enforcement.
- Partner with business associations and WINZ to identify critical local skills shortages.
