Why I'm standing

I am running because I believe in the power of our community and want to make sure every local voice is heard. I have lived and worked here for years and have seen the challenges we face, from transport and housing to protecting our beautiful coastline. I will bring practical solutions, transparency and genuine community engagement to the local board, so that together we can build a stronger, safer and more vibrant Hibiscus and Bays for everyone.

About me

I am a Coast local, small business owner and proud parent raising a young family on the Hibiscus Coast. With over 25 years in broadcasting, I am a skilled communicator, listener and leader, committed to making the community's voice heard. I am a strong advocate for local businesses, the arts and community groups. I will focus on safer bus stations, active parks and delivering key projects, including the Gulf Harbour ferry, Penlink bus station and protecting Orewa Beach's future.

My priorities
  1. Safeguard Orewa Beach with all options on the table to protect it for future generations.
  2. Deliver Penlink and a safe Whangaparāoa bus station to improve transport and reduce traffic.
  3. Secure and improve Gulf Harbour ferry to cut congestion, boost tourism and keep our Coast connected.
