Why I'm standing

I provide a strong voice for the Shore, with the business knowledge and decision-making experience to manage rate dollars wisely and in a focused manner that gets results. Governance isn't just about meetings and budgets; to me it is about making real life better for real people. I listen first, ask questions to find the facts, then act. Every decision I make starts with 'How does this help the people I serve?'.

About me

I have served the North Shore on the Kaipatiki Local Board for the last 12 years. I also serve on the boards of Westlake Boys High School, North Harbour Rugby and NH Gymnastics. My connections to the community are deep and far reaching. I understand local needs and actively engage with all of the community to continually understand what is important and to encourage and support growth and prosperity.

My priorities
  1. Speed up infrastructure, including drinking water, waste and flood management investment into the North Shore.
  2. Increase sport and recreation investment focused on youth wellbeing and greater local employment.
  3. Support Mayor Wayne Brown – fix Auckland, stop wasting money, care for the environment and manage Auckland Transport.
