Why I'm standing

We live in a beautiful place, which is packed with potential. But in the middle of a cost of living crisis, our council is writing cheques that our community simply cannot afford. We need to get back to basics, reign in expenditure, and make sure rates are fair and affordable.

About me

In 2013-16 I served as a districtwide councillor, the chair of corporate business, chair- audit and risk subcommittee, and the chair of the economic development forum. I worked tirelessly to deliver fair rates, and improved public services. I am proud of the results we delivered then, and I am ready to serve our community once again. I have the strength, the experience, and the integrity to deliver those great results once again.

My priorities
  1. Cut rates affordability as projected rates increases are too high and must cut cloth accordingly.
  2. Create a climate which attracts external investment for economic development.
  3. Advocate for reliable access to public services through strong advocacy to providers of services.
