Why I'm standing

Marlborough's a stunning place, but we still face real challenges, from climate change to central government reforms that affect our communities. In 2022, I quoted Robert F Kennedy: "The future is not a gift; it is an achievement. Every generation helps make its own future." That still holds true. I want to continue helping shape that future, by investing in reliable infrastructure, protecting our environment and making decisions that serve Marlborough's people and future generations.

About me

I'm a current councillor with the experience to hit the ground running, no time wasted, no learning curve. I bring integrity, practical leadership and established relationships across council and community. I know how to navigate complex issues, build consensus and get things done. I'm approachable, passionate and focused on outcomes that deliver for Marlborough. I've earned trust through hard work and genuine connection, and I'm ready to keep listening, keep delivering and make a difference.

My priorities
  1. Keep rates affordable and make smart decisions that reflect local voices and help the region thrive.
  2. Get the basics right and ensure every ratepayer dollar spent delivers real value.
  3. Invest in reliable infrastructure, strong local services and support work in our environment.
