Why I'm standing

ORC has doubled in rates and staff. It is not being governed well. I am standing with a team so we can make the difference an individual cannot.

About me

I have been an MP, a councillor either the DCC and a councillor with the ORC. I believe you should respect the community, and treat ratepayers money as you do your own. I believe personal virtue should be expressed in your personal life, not by passing motions about things beyond the council's control. Councillor should work well with the government of the day for good outcomes locally.

My priorities
  1. Reduce rates.
  2. Create better environmental outcomes including eliminating pests on land and in water.
  3. Create better democracy by listening and taking into account local community feedback and more transparency.
