Why I'm standing

The most important question of this election is: what value are you getting for your rates? We have to change what we do, in terms that the rates need to come down. I'm standing again because I believe we have to try to make a difference. Vision Otago can see that this rates decrease has been achieved in Whanganui. It can be done in Otago.

About me

I'm seeking a third term. I'm a good listener, which you need in local government, and understand rates matter and what you are getting for your rates money. I care about our communities in Otago and they need to get a fair deal. I believe that a rates decrease is possible and we have to try something new.

My priorities
  1. Reduce rates.
  2. Improve fresh water quality.
  3. Improve waste water treatment plants to get rubbish out of the river.
