Why I'm standing

I'm proud to have served as Chair of the Paraparaumu Community Board for the past three years. Born and raised here, I returned to raise my family because there's no better place. I'm running again because I believe our community deserves strong, diverse representation. I want to ensure every voice is heard, from youth to seniors, and that the Board remains connected, engaged and truly reflective of the people it serves.

About me

I bring governance experience including as the current Chair of the Paraparaumu Community Board, where I've worked constructively with colleagues and the community. I'm approachable, collaborative and committed to representing people with integrity. My involvement in local groups has strengthened my ability to listen, build consensus and turn community input into action. I believe these qualities ensure I can continue serving effectively as a board member.

My priorities
  1. Advocate locally to ensure Paraparaumu's voice is heard on wider council decisions.
  2. Support local groups by backing community initiatives that strengthen wellbeing and connection.
  3. Improve communication by keeping residents informed and engaged with board activities.
