Paraparaumu Community Board
The Paraparaumu Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Kapiti Coast District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members: four members elected by voters, and one member from the Kapiti Coast District Council. This is a single transferable vote (STV) election, so you vote by ranking the candidates on your ballot paper. I have a strong background in helping organisations understand the needs of the people they serve, and in working alongside others to shape services that really work.
My priorities
- Make it easier for all residents to engage with council and have their needs and opinions heard.
- Increase native afforestation and create green spaces to support community wellbeing and biodiversity.
