Why I'm standing

I believe that as costs increase communities need to be confident that their council is spending responsibly and sensibly, focusing on core council services that benefit all in our community.

About me

I am a long time Rangiora resident who has been employed as a public servant for in excess of 40 years. I bring experience from the banking, finance, local authority operations and the social sector.

My priorities
  1. Stop housing development encroaching into the green belt to preserve the rurality of our township.
  2. Rationalise council vehicle numbers, use and associated costs to save ratepayer dollars.
  3. Use the existing rail network to grow tourism, business opportunity and attract people to our town.
