Deputy Chair Rangiora Ashley Community Board

Why I'm standing

I am standing for community board to assist residents in understanding council processes, and bring a commonsense local knowledge view to decision-making.

About me

I've been an elected member for over 15 years, and was involved in earthquake recovery as a district councillor. Currently Deputy Chair of the Rangiora Ashley Community Board, I am also involved in a number of local groups such as civil defence, Lions Club and Rangiora Players. I'm self-employed in real estate, and have experience with zoning, resource management and the communication industry.

My priorities
  1. Lobby NZTA for fair contribution to roading for a growing district.
  2. Enhance Rangiora as a great place to work, live and do business.
  3. Ensure all residents have access to information about council.
