Why I'm standing
Upper Hutt has huge potential. We need an energetic and dedicated mayor to make the city the best in the region to raise a family. I am running to create a more liveable city while improving the way we spend public money. I am running to create a more transparent and inclusive council.
About me
I started my career in local government while studying business and resource management. I'm now a strategic advisor to councils across the country, helping them solve big challenges in infrastructure, transport, strategy and urban planning. From this experience, I know how to make pragmatic, responsible decisions that create public good and are affordable.
My priorities
- Create a vibrant city centre where families love to spend time together.
- Make it easier for everyone to get around the city.
- Plan ahead for the infrastructure needed and ensure costs are fairly distributed.
