Why I'm standing

My whānau and I made Waiheke home in 2016, and this motu has given us so much. I want to give back by protecting what we love and planning for what we need. That means listening first, showing up, and supporting the mahi already happening in our community. I'm motivated to ensure our tamariki, older residents, and local businesses can thrive together on a liveable, connected, and sustainable Waiheke.

About me

I bring over 20 years' experience in communications and community leadership, grounded in strong local connections. On Waiheke I've chaired Waiheke Connect, served on the Artworks Theatre board, co-run the W3 wāhine network, worked with the Winegrowers Association, and managed Sculpture on the Gulf. I'm known as someone who listens, connects people, and gets things done. My commitment is to be approachable, transparent, and a strong advocate for our community's voice and future.

My priorities
  1. Keep Waiheke liveable with secure housing, strong services and thriving local businesses.
  2. Protect land, water and biodiversity by backing the 40+ local groups already doing this mahi.
  3. Complete the Destination Management Plan to secure fair funding and guide sustainable tourism.
