Why I'm standing

I have energy, enthusiasm and experience for the Waiheke community. I will continue to keep protecting our special character, supporting community groups and working hard to make sure we are getting our share of our rates. Keeping our green spaces and support for our small business and economy. Advocating for affordable housing and a fair public transport model. Vote for experience.

About me

I have a strong sense of community and a genuine appreciation for the skills and strengths of others. I have been Chair of the Waiheke Labour Party and Home Grown Waiheke. I'm good at recognising people's potential and helping guide them toward the resources they need to bring their ideas to life, especially when those ideas benefit the community. I bring enthusiasm, active listening, healthy curiosity and a practical, logical approach to problem solving.

My priorities
  1. Continue protecting night skies through the Dark Sky Waiheke vision by securing legislation at Auckland Council.
  2. Make safe routes for travelling to and from school.
  3. Process food waste on the island in a circular system benefiting the environment and community.
