Why I'm standing

My commitment is to foster a healthy, diverse, and economically strong district by protecting our unique character while supporting well-planned, sustainable development. I will continue to work tirelessly to ensure our community's voice is not just heard, but acted upon.

About me

I ran for council in 2022 to be a strong voice for our rural communities on land and water issues, a stance rooted in my family's history of farming in West Eyreton since the 1960s. Having lived most of my life in Waimakariri and served in a number of community organisations, I have a good feel for local people and aspirations.

My priorities
  1. Sustainable land and water management.
  2. Respond to the community's opposition to the proposed Ohoka Village and Woodstock Quarry and landfill.
  3. Work with people to create safer, healthier and more connected communities.
