Why I'm standing

I am running as an independent candidate in the Motukairangi/Eastern Ward because I believe in people-powered change, community connection, and practical action that puts community, wellbeing, and sustainability at the heart of every decision. Wellington has been my home for 16 years - I'm raising my family here, I love this city and I'm deeply invested in its future. I believe together, we can build and improve a place that works for all of us.

About me

I care deeply about Wellington's future and want it shaped around the values, needs, and hopes of our people. I bring proven leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of how communities thrive. With experience across sectors – from grassroots to council – I know how to get things done, even when challenges are complex. I'm a creative problem-solver who leads with both integrity and heart.

My priorities
  1. Foster strong safe communities with connected suburbs, vibrant spaces, trust and local voices.
  2. Promote homes for all by addressing homelessness, supporting affordable housing and community-led options.
  3. Plan for the future by investing, fixing, supporting and tackling climate challenges to future-proof Wellington.
