Why I'm standing

I'm standing to serve our community and advocate for practical ideas and real solutions to ensure responsible spending, prioritise essential services, and enhance our city for residents and businesses. I bring integrity, pragmatism and common sense to local decision-making, while connecting residents, businesses and public services. I care deeply about our city's resilience, wellbeing and future. I want to build bridges, real and metaphorical, that unite people and strengthen our local community.

About me

I have lived in Whanganui for over 15 years and have a background in community development. I also run my own wellbeing business. My qualifications in architectural drafting and graphic design give me strategic problem-solving skills and insight into infrastructure and practical implementation. I bring dedication, accountability, and a commitment to putting Whanganui first. I understand local challenges, value community input, and will work collaboratively to deliver solutions that benefit everyone in our city.

My priorities
  1. Strengthen essential infrastructure to improve resilience and ensure efficient, reliable services.
  2. Support local jobs and businesses and promote Whanganui's unique culture for economic prosperity.
  3. Keep rates fair by cutting financial and environmental waste and ensuring accountability to residents.
