Why I'm standing

I am committed to ensuring that Rotorua residents are heard at regional level, and I believe that I can advocate for better outcomes for the community because I care about our lifestyles and unique environment. I have a proven record of being approachable and I'm skilled at understanding financial reports. I will fight to ensure your rates are well spent and that the community is heard at regional level.

About me

I have many years of experience representing Rotorua and its communities at different levels. I have previously represented Rotorua on the regional council public transport committee. My work within my Church as an Elder and Rotary keeps me grounded and gives me a unique view of local issues. I treat all people with respect, I won't make judgements and I endeavour to be kind and understanding.

My priorities
  1. Ensure that Rotorua is heard and well represented at regional level.
  2. Ensure that consideration is given at all times to policy that looks to protect future generations.
  3. Ensure that funds are spent wisely and appropriately and that debt wont effect our children's future.
