Why I'm standing

I want to ensure our district can thrive not only for future generations, but also for today. I believe that our council needs to adapt its thinking to ensure that community service is delivered in an affordable, timely manner, but also ensure that we are planning and allowing for the long term as we go. I want to see our communities shaped by our people, for our people.

About me

I have lived in the Far North for most of my life, and bring experience and community connection to the table. I want to ensure that my children have the opportunity to live in a district that is thriving economically, culturally and environmentally. After three years on council, I have learned the process and am eager to turn that experience in to change and accountability that is transparent and sustainable.

My priorities
  1. Climate action; both mitigation and adaptation. Ensuring that our communities are resilient.
  2. Get the basics right! Focus on addressing legacy infrastructure issues.
  3. Housing! Working in partnership to promote diversity in housing options.
