Why I'm standing
I believe we have been through challenging, tough times. Things are improving but some challenges remain. Hamilton needs a positive leader, who works collaboratively with, empowers and unites others to achieve more. We need a leader to be a powerfully positive voice for our city. I am a collaborative, positive leader with proven results. I am motivated to ensure people are at the heart of our decision making and can thrive in our city.

I love Hamilton and have lived her for 45 years. I have over 25 years of community and local government experience. I have a background in education, business support and community work. I have worked hard over 20 years across a range of portfolios from environment, transport and policy. I believe a mayor should support and enable councillors to use their skills and passions so that we have many leaders not just one.
My priorities
- Ensuring Hamilton is a safe city for all residents and businesses.
- Delivering sustainable growth for our city that provides affordable housing options in a nice way.
- Making sure Hamiltonians have, safe, affordable, sustainable, and convenient transport choices.
