Why I'm standing

I am 53 years old and retired from full time work. I want to give back to my community and leave the Hawkes Bay better than I found it. I want to build on my contribution to native planting and bird life by encouraging others to adopt predator control and plant natives.

About me

I have the skills from two terms as a district councillor, chairman of the independent audit committee and 23 years Police experience.

My priorities
  1. Protect water ways, through native planting and predator control.
  2. Good governance utilising common sense approach, and avoid vanity projects.
  3. Protect our democracy by stopping Three Waters.
