About me

Absolute passion and dedication to Hawke's Bay water issues over 15 years, combined with longstanding finance and governance track record. Intimate involvement in all key Hawke's Bay water issues. Track record of working collaboratively to make a difference. Insights into the Hawke's Bay primary sector through 22 years of vineyard ownership and working within Hawke's Bay Regional Council over the last 18 months supporting the development of catchment groups.

My priorities
  1. Ensure that we have a regional climate resilience strategy and plan.
  2. Strong, ambitious limits for water that recognise regional dependence on the primary sector.
  3. Ensuring water security through appropriate use of storage.
