Why I'm standing

I love Napier. I'm the fifth generation of my family to live here. I care about the city and its people and for the future generations who will be lucky enough to live in our beautiful city. I ran for council because I had strong opinions about some particular issues as did the community, so I felt I could be their voice around the council table.

About me

I feel I make a good councillor because I am approachable, have common sense and am good at problem solving. I am out and about in the community and listen to whatever issues they may have as its important to them. Having spent five years as Chair of the Taradale Primary School PTA, I gained great experience at working with a team to achieve great outcomes.

My priorities
  1. Continue with improving our water network, with the ultimate aim being chlorine-free water.
  2. Completion of the Napier War Memorial restoration project.
  3. Safe and secure housing for all.
