Why I'm standing

Napier has the potential to take things up a notch and become a modern, accessible and climate-friendly city. Changes are required now in a world that is experiencing climate, nature and social crises. I love the natural environment. I will confidently promote a long-term view on water, biodiversity and climate change. I will use my experience and wide contacts to promote accessibility for disabled and elderly people, their families, and all.

About me

I am a confident connector and collaborator, with flaxroots political experience and extensive contacts. I enjoy building my connections with sustainable businesses, community organisations, youth, iwi and hapū. My community work background, combined with upcoming strategic management studies, will serve Napier well. Mā pango, mā whero, ka oti te mahi. When we work together, things get done.

My priorities
  1. Promoting quality infrastructure – council, businesses and community organisations working together.
  2. Promoting accessibility for disabled and elderly people and their families.
  3. Protecting the natural environment, with a long-term view on water, biodiversity and climate change.
